Axxiom Model 714 can turn your isocratic pumps into a high pressure gradient system. It can handle up to six pumps divided into two separate, independent
HPLC systems. The Model 714 only does pump control. Axxiom Models 717, 727, 737 and 747 will all handle data from HPLC detectors. Operating under DOS, these models have a very simple user interface. An offline edit mode allows editing and programming while HPLC systems are actually running. HPLC functions can be accessed through the one of ten function keys.

For more sophisticated HPLC Systems, Bay Scientific recommends the Pyramid Series using Windows and Microsoft Excel. Pyramid can be totally customized to suit the user. It has GLP/GMP functions and System Security Checks. A single keyboard can control multiple instruments and/or multiple components in one HPLC System. Reports can also be customized with the Pyramid Series. With all its capability, Pyramid is very easy to navigate using only 6 screens. The 6 screens can be accessed through 6 soft buttons that are always visible on the PC monitor.

If pump control is needed, the Series 700 and the Pyramid Series can control a variety of pumps to form gradient systems. Interfaces are available for many pumps: Waters, Shimadzu, Beckman, Gilson, Rainin, Kratos, Knauer, Isco, Kontron, Bio-Rad, Bischoff and more. Bay Scientific can create a "Humpty Dumpty" HPLC system using your pumps, Axxiom Chromatography Software, and surplus Personal Computers. We can design it and outfit it completely with all necessary accessories (mixer, cables, tubing, fitting and filters) to make an automated High Pressure Gradient System.

Knauer offers two packages for pump control and data handling. EuroChrom is a basic package for Chromatography Software. ChromGate is a more sophisticated package with GLP/GMP and security features.
